Although the process of identification of promising ventures is expected to be flexible, and often initiated by an interview with the organizational leader, target ventures will be required to fill a defined and detailed expression of interest to Insaan.

Based inter alia on the expression of interest, the pre-selection of ventures will be based on the following set of criteria:

• General: issues of legal establishment and fit with Insaan
• Vision, purposes, processes and practices
• Demonstrated need for Insaan inputs
• Commitment to Insaan’s PROI approach
• Entities fall outside “grounds for exclusion” category
